A "relentless advocate for the success" of her own trainees, Molecular Biology alumna Dorothy A. Lerit *10, received the 2022 Günter Blobel Early Career Award at Cell Bio 2022. Lerit, Associate Professor in the Department of Cell Biology of Emory University School of Medicine, she earned her Ph.D. in the lab of Liz Gavis, and thoughtfully reflects on her own experiences of mentorship at Princeton and beyond in her American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) award essay.
