Princeton University Molecular Biology faculty member Rebecca Burdine has been named a 2018 fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for her scientifically distinguished work.

New fellows will be honored Feb. 16 during the 2019 AAAS Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and in the AAAS News & Notes section of the Nov. 29 issue of Science.

Burdine, an associate professor of molecular biology, is being recognized for distinguished contributions to the field of developmental genetics, particularly using zebrafish to study left-right axis and pattern establishment.
