MOL BIO donates supplies to local hospitals

The 400 swabs, 20 cases of gloves, surgical masks and 100 disposable lab coats that the Department of Molecular Biology was able to donate from our teaching labs to local hospitals to support diagnosis and treatment of COVID-19 patients. Thanks to lab managers Lorraine Schepis, Deanne Kennedy and Bettina Wittler who make sure we are always well stocked, and to Heather Thieringer for hauling it out from storage. We were able to give a similar amount from the research labs.
