Kang, Korennykh and Toettcher receive 2016 MOL BIO Innovation Awards
The Department of Molecular Biology has announced the recipients of the 2016 MOL BIO Innovation Awards. These awards are for MOL faculty who propose research projects that stretch the PIs, their labs, and the department in new directions, and possibly lay the groundwork for externally funded grants.
The following projects were selected for $100,000 one-year awards:

Structure and biology of a novel RNA processor KHNYN
All-optical morphogen gradients to interrogate cell fate control in vivo
