John R Jimah will be an Assistant Professor in Molecular Biology starting January 2022. Dr. Jimah is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the NIH. He received a B.A. from Colgate in Molecular Biology and his Ph.D. in Biology and Biomedical Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis. Jimah is a structural biologist who focuses on membrane remodeling in human cells and parasites such as malaria. He will be a core user of the cryo-EM facility in the Imaging and Analysis Center and will introduce cryo Correlative Light Electron Microscopy (CLEM) to Princeton.
