Carly Lay Geronimo and Thomas Silhavy

Carly Lay Geronimo, a Molecular Biology graduate student in the Zakian Lab, was awarded the Thomas J. Silhavy Graduate Advocacy Prize for 2017 at the annual departmental retreat.  The Award is for the student who has shown outstanding dedication and service to the Graduate Program in Molecular Biology.  Also awarded at the retreat were three prizes for excellence in teaching.  Those awards were given to graduate students Caroline Doherty, Ila Nimgaonkar, and Xinlei Sheng.
