Transportation/Parking
For information about transportation and visiting Princeton University, please see Visiting Campus. Here you will find links to rail and airport services, as well as local bus lines and parking instructions for visitors.
Housing
Princeton University Staff Housing is available to postdocs, however it is limited. The program information can be found at Housing and Real Estate, which provides contacts, rates and application forms. Once your appointment at Princeton is approved and you have your Net ID, you may submit an application.
Off-Campus Housing
The Housing Office lists non-University housing in the Princeton area at Off-Campus Housing (The Housing Office also maintains a bulletin board that lists new offerings not yet on their web page.)
Options for housing in the Princeton area are limited. Other areas within commuting distance are located in Mercer and Middlesex Counties, New Jersey; and Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
International Postdocs
Princeton University Office of Visa Services (located within the Davis Center) processes visa applications and offers information about visas and taxes to international scholars. You can visit their website for helpful resources.
The Princeton International Center provides services to help international scholars adjust to life at Princeton. They offer intercultural outreach and community building events.
