Jane Gitschier is Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the Institute for Human Genetics at the University of California in San Francisco. She is an expert interviewer and writes beautifully, creating wonderful human-interest stories about how scientists do science.
We are looking forward to a very enjoyable afternoon and hope to fill McDonnell Auditorium with a standing-room-only audience! We would very much appreciate your help in publicizing this event to *all* in the Department of Molecular Biology. [Note that we have scheduled it during “reading period” so that class schedules will not prevent the undergraduates from attending.]
