Bonnie Bassler elected to the American Philosophical Society

The American Philosophical Society (APS ) announces the election of 35 new members in its April 2012 meeting. Bonnie Bassler, HHMI Investigator and Squibb Professor in Molecular Biology, has been elected among the five new members in the category of biological sciences.

APS is an eminent scholarly organization of international reputation. APS promotes useful knowledge in the sciences and humanities through excellence in scholarly research, professional meetings, publications, library resources, and community outreach.
