Merck Award for Manuel Llinas
The American Society for Microbiology and the American Academy of Microbiology have selected Manuel Llinas as one of two recipients of the 2006 Merck Irving S. Sigal Memorial Award from the American Society of Microbiology. The Merck Irving S. Sigal Memorial Awards recognize and reward excellence in basic research in medical microbiology and infectious disease. The awards are presented in memory of Irving S.
