Coleen Murphy receives ASCB Junior Career Award

Coleen Murphy, an Assistant Professor of Molecular Biology and member of the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics is the recipient of an American Society of Cell Biology Women in Cell Biology Committee Junior Career Award. The Award is given to a woman in an early stage of her career (generally less than five years in an independent position at the time of nomination) who is making exceptional scientific contributions to cell biology and exhibits the potential for continuing a high level of scientific endeavor and leadership. She will receive the award in December at the 48th annual meeting of the ASCB.
