MOL 551/COS 551 Introduction to Genomics and Computational Molecular Biology

Introduction to basic computational genomic methods for analysis of biological systems. Topics include: sequence similarity and alignment, phylogenetic inference, gene recognition, gene expression analysis, transcriptional networks, structure prediction, functional genomics and proteomics. This is primarily a graduate-level course; interested undergraduates will require permission from instructors.
